Feel like life is spinning so fast that you don’t have time for reading the Bible? I understand about being busy . . .

In the middle of our business is when we need the Word the most it seems. It is our source of balance, a checking station for our priorities, if you will.

We have to be careful that in the middle of doing good things we are not deceived by the enemy “keeping us away” from the Word and the Life that it brings us.

Honestly for me, it’s like I can become so busy that I’m coasting on fumes rather than a full tank. And that always results in me doing everything in my own strength.

Of course after a day of me running on fumes, it’s like I’m draining my battery with no back up charger. I’m good for a few days . . . then I’m almost completely dead. That is why I love the Word, even in small segments. The Word plugs me in — into The source and into His resources! When I leave, I’m totally 100% rebooted!
